Non Prescription and Prescription Meds
Administration of OTC and prescription medications during the school day REQUIRE a medical provider WRITTEN order AND parent/guardian signature. Parents are asked to contact their healthcare provider to obtain an order for any medication before it is brought to school. Medication can not be given at school until the written order is received.
Please note: Severe Allergy (EpiPens) Care Plans, Diabetic Care Plans, and Seizure Care Plans that are required annually include the order for medications and therefore meet this requirement already.
